Adam Zammit
Adam is firmly entrenched in Australian music via relations with ARIA, Big Day Out, record labels and talent. Originally editor of Beat magazine, Adam then launched Sydney's Brag magazine and set up Peer Group Media, a music commercial rights firm and experiential youth/entertainment communications agency.
Alexandra Fletcher
Alexandra is the Promotions and Events Co Ordinator at Myspace in Australia. Prior to this she worked at Universal Music where she worked in New Media and Promotions.
Andrew Levins
Levins hosts a weekly show on FBi radio, puts on regular parties in Sydney and DJ's around town as Sleater Brockman. As a publicist he has worked for record labels including Remote Control, Elefant Traks and Popfrenzy. He is one of the Directors of this year's Sound Summit.
Ben Andrews
Ben Andrews, 27 years old, has been touring and performing music in Australia and abroad for almost ten years. After a brief period of living and touring in Europe, Ben moved back to Melbourne in 2003. He now plays with My Disco, has his own label Numerical Thief, a number of side projects including Agents Of Abhorrence and Blarke Bayer and books tours of Australia for local and international acts alike.
Ben Eltham
Ben is the Festival Director of STRAIGHT OUT OF BRISBANE which he started in 2002. He also works as a writer critic and plays in both Briztronix and Vineland. His first play "The Pacific Solution" premiered this year as part of the Brisbane Festival.
Chris Nelson
Chris Nelson, aka Chris Lemon-Red, has been running perhaps the best hip hop blog, Lemon-Red.org, for two years, which was recently voted the 19th best music website by Entertainment Weekly. Coming in at number 8 in the same poll was TurntableLab.com, a New York record store, where Chris works during the week. Chris also co-runs Mad Decent records with producer/DJ extroadinare Diplo.
Dan Haak
Dan right now produces and presents radio for Sydney's FBi 94.5FM. Hosting their all Sydney music program series, The Bridge, he's often first to hear about new nights and releases!

David Vodika
Lawyer David Vodika is the owner/founder of Melbourne independent label Rubber Records. To date Rubber has released more than 200 titles including GB3, Offcuts, 1200 Techniques, T-Rek, Bionikworld, Yidcore, Even, Icecream Hands, Casanovas, Offcuts, The Silents, the Sneaker Trio and the very first Jet record on vinyl.
D'Opus & MC Roshambo
Representing the Canberra hip-hop scene independently for years it was only right that DJ D-Opus and MC Roshambo combined their natural talents to quench the peoples desire for more good music out of the Nations Capital.
In addition to his emcee talents, Roshambo has been co-hosting Canberra's illest hip-hop radio show Holy Calamity 98.3FM for over four years whilst D-Opus has established a name for himself as not only a DJ, (supporting the likes of DJ Q-Bert, Jungle Brothers, De La Soul, DJ Dopey, and Andy Smith) but also as a producer/performer with live act Illogik.
Emily York
Emily has booked tours, managed artists and organized parties with her company Penny Drop. She is currently managing Macromantics and My Disco, and has done regular publicity work for folks including Handsome Tours and Popfrenzy.
Evet Jean
Evet is co-founder of Opulent, which is an independent publication, that runs the monthly night Favela Rock, and recently toured Diplo, A-track and DJ Medhi. Opulent has an online store, specialising in urban music CDs and designer t-shirts.
Frank Rodi
Frank is Online and Mobile Licensing Manager with APRA/AMCOS. His role is to identify new technologies and to investigate their possible impact on the music industry and music copyright in relation to musical works. Prior to APRA/AMCOS Frank worked as a radio producer and announcer, establishing the first youth music program for SBS radio called Alchemy. Subsequently he transformed his Alchemy concept into the long running successful television show for SBS, which Frank co-presented and was music director.
Ghislain Poirier
Ghislain Poirier, a French speaking beat maker from Montreal, Canada. Ghislain's debut album Breakupdown was released late last year and features guest appearances from Omnikrom and Beans from Anti Pop Consortium. He has since released remixes of everything from Busta Rhymes to Neneh Cherry. Ghislain also hosts the notorious regular Montreal party Bounce le Gros.
Gorky
DJ Gorky, producer and DJ for Bonde Do Role, a Brazillian group often compared to early Beastie Boys. Gorky is responsible for some of the most anarchic pop music of the last year, a punky, bastardised take on western hits mixed with with Baile Funk, Electro, Miami Bass and whatever else is in his discman at the time.
Heidi Pasqual
Heidi is one of the 3 owners of Creative Vibes, the 12 year old independent Music Label and Distributor. She is also the founder of the Mother Tongues label. With a long history in dance music Heidi was one of the presenters of Back To Funk on 2SER fm for approx 17 years, has DJ'd clubs and event in Sydney and for some years also wrote for RAM (Rock Australia Magazine) and 3D World. As a producer Heidi also has tracks released in Australia Europe and USA.
Jake Stone
A 26 year old guy, much like other 26 year old guys (but more neurotic). Jake plays in a band called bluejuice, works as a freelance arts journalist for a bunch of magazines and a paper. Jake likes to write songs and he once got arrested once for wearing police shirt while performing at The Metro in Sydney. It was funny.
Jules Munro
Jules Munro of Simpsons Solicitors, which wrote the acclaimed ‘Music Business’ book. Jules is Simpsons’ resident music industry wrangler. A board member of Music NSW, Jules regularly gives addresses and seminars on music industry and copyright matters.
Julia Kosky
Julia Kosky was working as an intellectual property lawyer when she (saw the light), shed the grey suit and regular pay packet and entered the world of music management to take the reigns of successful independent band Baggsmen (then known as The Hive). Now also managing soul hip hop supergroup Kid Confucius, the multi-talented Buchman and rising star Andy Bull there is certainly no turning back. Julia is business manager of Brighton Boulevard Productions and sits on the Board of FBi 94.5 Radio.

Traded being Director of Sound Summit 05 for 8 blissful hours sleep every night. She now works alongside MASSMC in running OzHipHop.com and DoubleBeef Records.

Matt Levinson
Matt is the recently appointed Co-editor of Cyclic Defrost Magazine. He regularly DJs, writes for other music magazines, hosts Join The Dots, a weekly show on FBi Radio and was heavily involved with the programming and organizing of Sound Summit '04
Mess+Noise
Mess+Noise magazine is dedicated to showing Australian music in a different and evocative light. Photo essays, art pieces by musicians, inquisitive interviews and idiosyncratic reviews intermingle throughout the pages/ Mess+Noise is not available in the supermarket.
Millie Millgate
Currently the Creative Director of MusicNSW and Project Manager for Sound Summit ‘06, Millie has worked in the live arena booking venues (The Hopetoun, Annanadale, Macquarie Uni), held various positions on music festivals (Big Day Out, Homebake, Livid, Summersault) whist managing artists for Garage Industries Pty Ltd.
Nathan Zavros
Nathan started a venue called the Bandroom in Newcastle back in 2002 with the hope of providing a worthy stage for local, national and international artists. From there he then went on to organise and promote Maitland’s ‘Groovin the Moo’ Festival, which has since grown to incorporate Albury and Darwin, drawing in crowds of over 5000. Nathan has also managed a number of local artists, including Local Knowledge, Dirty Pink Jeans and Afro Moses, is currently the in-house booking consultant for Newcastle's premier venue Panthers Newcastle and joins TINA again this year as Production Manager.
Nick Catchdubs
Nick Barat, aka Nick Catchdubs, one of the youngest writers for The Fader, probably the best music magazine in the world today. Also an incredible DJ, producer and remix artist, Nick hosts a popular show on East Village Radio in New York and has released a number of amazing mixtapes.
PJ Murton
Manager - Pulling Strings representing Hilltop Hoods. Started "Full Effect" Magazine in 1991 and has since been involved in distribution, promotion, marketing, publishing, and event/artist management.
Ro Sham Bo DJs
Ro Sham Bo is a collective of young upstarts who have been putting on regular parties in the last year, specializing in crunk, hyphy, baltimore club, baile funk and just about every other genre with a ridiculous name.
Robert Curgenven
Robert is active in the NT, currently working with field recordings, harmonics, improvised music and organized the inaugural Sounds Unusual Festival of New Music.
Stuart Buchanan
Stuart manages Sydney's FBi 94.5FM, and hosts the international music show FAT PLANET. He also edits the audioblog, is director of the web design company, zeroG and produces music under various aliases.
Stuart Watters
Stuart is the CEO of AIR. Stuart joined AIR in July 2004, as the organisation moved to Brisbane. He has a long history in arts management, and also headed Q Music, Queensland's peak development body for contemporary music.
Tim Ritchie
As the current presenter of Sound Quality on Radio National, Tim’s radio experience spans over 25 years with the ABC, including a posting as the first and only Triple J music correspondent to New York. He still thinks finding new music is the best job in the world!
Tony Buchman
‘Buchman’ has been involved in making records for the past decade as a member of Hip Hop/Soul-Rock band Baggsmen (fornmally The Hive), playing as a session bassist for many Australian artists and most recently as one of Australia's most successful young producers. Some of Tony's recent productions include Earl Gray, Andy Bull, Kid Confucius, Rastawookie, Blue King Brown, Gelbison, Entropic and Macromantics, plus a track on the upcoming album for LA rapper Pigieon John on the famed Bay Area label Quannum Projects. Tony released his debut solo album Progress In Works in 2005.

Wire MC (Will Jarret)
Wire MC, a Gumbayngirri descendant from Bowraville, on the mid north coast of New South Wales, has been bringing his country rebel beats to the city streets and country towns of Australia for the past six years. He has performed at Homebake, WOMadeliade, Yabun and the recent Dreaming Festival, and has traveled to remote communities around Australia, conducting hip hop workshops for young Indigenous people.
Woody McDonald
Woody McDonald has been touring and managing bands since his mid teens. He is currently the Music Co-ordinator at RRR radio in Melbourne and an aspiring crunk DJ.
Vaughan Healey
Vaughan is a music writer and broadcaster. He has written for publications like 3D World, Cyclic Defrost, Riot Magazine and the Financial Review. He also presents Juvenalia on 2SER.
