Does the playing field for independents become fairer with these advances in technology and the subsequent increase in the potential for self – exploitation?

Is it in “the pitch” or more so about who you know or what you’ve got to offer? In the critiquing of performance and product, is it hard to remain subjective once you know the subject's creator?

Ms Pinky is a combination of software made in max/msp and special (pink) time coded records that lets you use traditional turntables as an interface for digital stuff, audio, video or program parameters. It's the same concept as Final Scratch only really cheap and with heaps more possibilities. Div (iOnic) demonstrates the software/interface and its many potentialities, and you get a chance to test it out for yourself!
